Terms of Service
Last updated:
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and UptimeGlobe ("we", "us") governing your use of the uptime monitoring service at uptimeglobe.com and its subdomains (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you accept them for that organization and confirm you have authority to do so.
2. The Service
UptimeGlobe monitors endpoints you configure (websites, ports, DNS records, TLS certificates, heartbeats, MCP endpoints, browser flows), records the results, notifies you through the channels you set up, and can publish status pages. Feature availability and limits depend on your plan, as described on the pricing page.
3. Your account
- You must provide a working email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
4. Free plan
The free plan is a permanent plan, not a trial, and commercial use is allowed. Its limits are stated on the pricing page. We reserve the right to change free-plan limits prospectively; we will not retroactively convert free accounts into trials.
5. Paid plans and billing
- Paid plan prices and limits are listed on the pricing page. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
- If you downgrade, monitors above the new plan's limit are paused (never deleted) and history is retained per the new plan's retention window.
- Payments, where offered, are processed by a third-party payment provider; we do not store card details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to monitor only endpoints you own or are authorized to monitor. You must not use the Service to:
- probe, stress, or overload systems without their operator's permission;
- circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or access controls;
- publish unlawful content on status pages;
- resell the Service as your own without our written agreement.
We may throttle or suspend monitors that generate abusive traffic toward third parties.
7. Availability
We work hard to keep the Service reliable and we publish our own live status, but the Service is provided without a contractual SLA unless one is agreed in writing (Enterprise). Monitoring is a best-effort observation system: checks can be delayed or lost, and you should not use the Service as your only safeguard for life-, safety-, or revenue-critical processes.
8. Your data
You retain all rights to the configuration and content you put into the Service. You grant us the license needed to operate the Service on it (storing it, running checks against your endpoints, delivering notifications, rendering status pages you make public). Handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
9. Termination
You can close your account at any time from the app. We may terminate accounts for material breach of these terms. On termination, your data is deleted per the schedule in the privacy policy.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or, for free accounts, to nothing). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including losses caused by missed or delayed alerts.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice (email or in-app) at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of our principal place of business, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
