- Is the free plan really free for commercial use?
- Yes. Monitor your company’s production sites on the free plan, forever, including the public status page, badge and JSON embed. No card required.
- What counts as a monitor?
- One monitored thing checked from one region every minute or less often — a URL, a TCP port, a DNS record, a TLS certificate, an MCP endpoint, or a browser flow. Each extra region counts once more, a check every 30 seconds counts double and every 15 seconds four times, so 60 monitors can be 60 sites from one region, 30 from two, or 15 from one region every 15 seconds. A heartbeat counts as one, at the rate your job pings it. The app shows what a monitor counts for before you save it.
- Is there an annual discount?
- No. Every plan is billed monthly at the price shown, and you can cancel any month.
- How do I upgrade?
- Every account starts on Free — create one, add monitors, and upgrade from the billing page inside the app whenever you hit a limit.
- What happens if I downgrade?
- Monitors over the new plan’s limit are automatically paused, newest first — nothing is deleted, and you can pause different ones to swap which stay active. History is kept for the new plan’s retention window.
